Warehouse operations require secure, verifiable proof of execution to resolve disputes, investigate exceptions, and maintain clear compliance audits across execution workflows. The Camera Integration module enables warehouses to capture, store, and review image and video evidence across critical operational milestones, mapping visual proof directly to transactional system records.
Prerequisites:
Account-Level Activation: The Camera Module capability must be enabled at the account level by an Anchanto Implementation Consultant before warehouse or customer configurations can be adjusted.
Hardware Readiness: Webcams or USB cameras must be properly connected and authorized for Web-based interfaces, or compatible mobile computers (PDAs) must be assigned to field operators for image capture.
Storage Availability: Adequate configuration of account data retention windows (ranging from 1 to 90 days) must be established within the account cloud parameters.
System Permissions: Admin-level credentials are required to modify settings within the Warehouse Master and Customer Master panels.
Step-by-Step Instructions

Executing Camera Capture During Inbound Operations
Receiving & Putaway (Image Capture)
Complete the standard system receiving or putaway tasks → The camera interface overlay opens automatically on screen.
Position the item or document framework → Click Capture Photo (on PDA) or wait for the web preview.
Review the image capture quality. If the image is obscured or incorrect, click Retake.
Click Confirm & Upload (on Web) or Use Photo (on PDA) → The system uploads the file asset and binds it to the transaction.
Count & QC (Video and Image Capture)
Go to the inbound processing screen → Click Start Count & QC.
If video is active on a Web configuration → The system automatically initiates video recording and displays a live recording indicator.
Scan the product SKUs one by one, ensuring label and box details pass within view of the camera.
Complete the quality checks → The system stops recording automatically upon submission and links the file asset to the GRN and SKU records.
Executing Camera Capture During Outbound Packing
Open the outbound workstation module → Scan the Order ID or Bin ID to initiate packing.
If video is active → The video capture session auto-starts to record item handling.
Scan individual SKUs and pack them into the container → The camera records item validation, carton creation, and physical sealing.
Generate and print shipping documentation → Scan the AWB / Shipping Label directly in front of the camera lens.
Complete the final scan sequence → The system automatically stops the video session and links the assets to the Order and Carton reference records.
Reviewing and Downloading Stored Evidence
Go to the core transaction module matching your search (e.g., Inbound → GRN).
Click on the target GRN Number or Order Number hyperlink.
Click the Camera Evidence tab.
View the organized lists of bounded videos and images.
Go to the explicit file line item → Click Download to save an individual asset locally.
