1. Introduction
What is the functionality
Alternate Picking Location is a new enhancement in Anchanto Warehouse Management System (WMS) PDA app that helps you keep picking moving without breaking your flow. This enhancement allows you to view and select an alternate location for the same SKU on the PDA when the primary location does not have enough quantity. Once you choose a new location, the PDA updates the pick details automatically so you can continue picking right away without any extra follow-up or manual intervention.
Who can use it
This enhancement typically benefits the pickers using the PDA picking flow in Anchanto WMS.
Use cases
- Continue picking when the primary bin falls short: Switch to another eligible location for the same SKU without interrupting your workflow.
