Overview
User Role Management lets you control who can access each module in Anchanto OMS and what actions they can take. You add team members from Account Settings → Team Members, give each person the role that matches their responsibilities, and activate or deactivate their access whenever needed. Each user sees only the modules relevant to their role, which keeps your data secure and their workspace focused.
Prerequisites:
Adding users and changing roles: only the Seller Admin and Master Admin roles can add new users or update the role of an existing user.
Activating or deactivating users: you'll need Seller Admin access.
Master Admin and Master Admin Assistant roles: available only if your account is subscribed to the Master Accountfeature.
Inventory Champ, Order Champ, Warehouse Champ, Picker and Packer roles: available only if your account is subscribed to the OMS Multi-Warehouse feature.
Picker and Packer roles: these are enabled only when the picking flow is turned on in OMS settings.

Step-by-Step Instructions
Add a New Team Member
Step 1: Log in to OMS
Go to Anchanto OMS → Log in with your Seller Admin credentials → Your OMS Dashboard opens.
Step 2: Open Team Members
Go to the profile icon at the bottom of the left navigation bar → Click Account Settings, then select the Team Members sub-module → The Team Members page opens, listing all users in your account.
Step 3: Start a new user
Go to Team Members → Click Add New → The Create New User form opens.
Step 4: Enter the user's details and choose a role
Go to Create New User → Basic Information → Enter the user's First Name, Last Name, and Email (all required) → The user's details are captured.
Go to Create New User → Select Role → Click the role that fits the user's responsibilities → The modules for the selected role appear below the role list.
Go to Create New User → Click Create User → The user is created and a password setup email is sent to them.
If none of the standard roles covers what the user needs, select Custom. You can then choose the specific modules the user can access, and their level of permission (including view only for dependent modules). Detailed Custom role setup steps: Not covered in source — needs SME input.

Go to Account Settings → Team Members → Find the user in the list → The newly created user appears with Inactivestatus.
Step 6: The new user sets their password

Step 7: The new user logs in
Go to the Anchanto OMS login page → The user enters their registered email ID and password → The user can access the OMS account.

Activate or Deactivate an Existing User
You can activate or deactivate users whenever you need to. This is useful when you want to temporarily restrict or restore someone's access to Anchanto OMS without permanently removing them.
Step 3: Change the user's status
Go to Team Members → Click the arrow icon in the Actions column for the user, then select the status option (for an inactive user, this is Activate) → The user's status is set to Active or Inactive.
Important Notes & Limitations
- Who can manage users: only the Seller Admin and Master Admin roles can add new users or update the role of an existing user.
- One role per user: each user can have only one role. If someone needs a combination of access, use the Customrole and select the modules they need.
- Users cannot be deleted: once a user is added to Anchanto OMS, they cannot be removed. To stop someone's access, deactivate them instead.
- Inactive users cannot log in: a user with Inactive status cannot log in to the Anchanto OMS account.
- New users start as Inactive: newly created users appear on the Team Members page with Inactive status.
- Username is the email ID: the user's registered email ID is their username for logging in.
- Seller Admin vs. Master Admin: the Seller Admin is the main owner of a single account, with full access. The Master Admin is for sellers subscribed to the Master Account feature and manages multiple OMS accounts under one main account, also with full access.
