Overview
Zid requires webhook authentication for store integrations, so order event notifications from your Zid store reach Anchanto OMS securely. Zid stores connected to Anchanto OMS after this requirement came into effect are set up with authenticated webhooks automatically. If your store was connected before then, a one-time disconnect and reconnect replaces your existing webhook configuration with an authenticated one and keeps your Zid order updates flowing into Anchanto OMS.
Prerequisites
- This guide applies to Zid stores connected to Anchanto OMS before Zid's webhook authentication requirement took effect on 30 September 2026. Stores connected after that already use authenticated webhooks and don't need to be reconnected.
- If you're unsure whether your store needs reconnecting, your Account Manager or the Anchanto Care Team (help@anchanto.com) can confirm this for you.
Step-by-Step Instructions
Open your Ecommerce Channels
- Go to your Anchanto OMS dashboard → Click Integration in the left navigation menu → The Integration section opens.
- Go to Integration → Click Ecommerce Channels → A list of your connected and disconnected stores appears.
Disconnect your Zid store
- Go to Integration → Ecommerce Channels → Find your Zid store card and click the ⋮ (more options) menu on the right side of the card → A menu of store actions appears.
- Go to the ⋮ (more options) menu → Click Disconnect
Reconnect and authenticate your Zid store
- Go to Integration → Ecommerce Channels → Click Add Store → The Start Integration page opens.
- Go to the Start Integration search bar → Type ZID → The store list is filtered to show the Zid tile.
- Go to the Zid tile → Click the link icon on the tile → A Zid "Authorization required" screen appears, asking you to install the Anchanto connector.
- Go to the Authorization required screen → Click Install → Expected result: Not covered in source — needs SME input.
- Go to the Please fill up your account details form → Enter your Store Name, choose an Order Tag (B2C, B2B, or Flow Through), and select your Warehouse, country, time zone, and currency → Your store details are filled in and ready to submit.
The Help panel on this screen explains the key fields:
- Store Name: A unique name that helps you identify different stores of the connected sales channel.
- Order Tag: Shows whether orders are for businesses (B2B) or consumers (B2C), so the same tag is reflected in Anchanto WMS.
- Go to the account details form → Click Generate API Token → Expected result: Not covered in source — needs SME input.
- Go to the account details form → Click Start Integration – Sync with OMS → Expected result: Not covered in source — needs SME input.
Confirm your updated connection
- Once you've reconnected, let your Account Manager or the Anchanto Care Team at help@anchanto.com know → The team will verify that your updated connection has been configured successfully.
Important Notes & Limitations
- Why reconnecting helps: Reconnecting replaces your store's existing webhook configuration with a new authenticated configuration that meets Zid's security requirements.
- Signs your store may need reconnecting: If your Zid store was connected before 30 September 2026 and hasn't been reconnected, its webhooks may stop working. Order event notifications from Zid may then not reach Anchanto OMS, which can affect the flow of relevant order updates.
- One-time action: Each affected Zid store needs to be reconnected only once.
- Newer connections: Zid stores connected after the webhook authentication requirement took effect are already configured correctly and need no action.
- Need a hand? If you need help at any point while reconnecting, contact your Account Manager or the Anchanto Care Team at help@anchanto.com.
