Need to process a return for your customer? A smooth return process is key to customer satisfaction. This clear, step-by-step guide will walk you through creating a return order in our system quickly and correctly, ensuring a seamless experience for both you and your customer.
1. Access the Return Creation Interface
Begin by navigating to the correct section of the system.
- Go to Order → Create Return Order.
- The system will open the dedicated return order creation interface.
2. Select and Validate the Original Order
To ensure you're processing the right order, you must first locate and validate it.
- Store Selection: Choose the correct store or sales channel.
- Order Number: Input the original order number from the customer.
- Order Type: Select "Return" or "Re-delivery" as needed.
- Click the 'Proceed' button to validate the order and load all its details.
3. Configure the Return Details
This is the core of the process where you specify what is being returned and why.

Return Reason: Choose a reason from the dropdown menu:
- Defective product
- Wrong item received
- Size/color mismatch
- Customer changed preference
- Damage during shipping
- Return Items: Select the specific item(s) the customer is sending back.
- Goodwill Products (Optional): Add complimentary items as compensation for the inconvenience, if your policy allows.
- Carrier Information: Select a pickup carrier and schedule a date for the product to be collected.
4. Review and Finalize the Return
Before completing the process, double-check all information.
- Carefully review all details for accuracy.
- Click the 'Create Return Order' button to submit.
- The new return order will now appear in the Return & Exchange tab.
- Its initial status will be "Return Initiated."
