How to Connect Your Shopify Store with Anchanto OMS: A Complete Step-by-Step Guide

This guide walks you through the process of connecting your Shopify Store with Anchanto OMS, enabling seamless order and product synchronization.

Pre-requisites

Before you begin, please ensure the following:

1. You have access to Admin credentials for your Shopify store, with permission to install apps.
2. You are logged in to Anchanto OMS using Seller Admin credentials.
3. Both Shopify and Anchanto OMS are opened in the same browser session to ensure a smooth authentication flow.
4. Please complete the connection process within 5–10 minutes to ensure a successful connection.

Steps to Connect Shopify with Anchanto OMS

Step 1: Log in to Shopify

Open your browser and log in to your Shopify Admin panel.

Step 2: Open Store Settings

From the Shopify dashboard, click Settings located at the bottom-left corner.

Step 3: Copy Your Shopify Store Name

1. In the left-hand menu, select Domains.
2. Identify your primary domain.
3. Copy the store name that appears before .myshopify.com
   (Example: mystore.myshopify.com → store name is mystore).

This store name will be required during integration setup.

Step 4: Log in to Anchanto OMS

Open a new tab in the same browser, and log in to Anchanto OMS using your seller admin credentials.

Step 5: Navigate to Integrations

From the main menu, click Integrations.

Step 6: Add an Ecommerce Channel

1. Select Ecommerce Channels
2. Click Add Store

Step 7: Select Shopify

1. Search for Shopify
2. Select the checkbox
3. Click Start Integration

Step 8: Configure Store Details

Fill in the following fields carefully:

1. Store Name
   Enter a friendly name for the store. This is useful if you manage multiple Shopify stores.

2. Order Tag
   Choose how orders from this store should be classified:

   1. B2C

   2. B2B

   3. Flow Through
      (Select “Flow Through” only if you are using Anchanto WMS.)

3. Order & Product Sync Preference
   Choose how data should be synced:

   1. Auto Sync – Automatically sync products and orders

   2. Manual Sync – Recommended if you need to configure carrier rules or warehouse mapping before syncing

4. Historical Order Sync (in days)
   Enter the number of past days for which orders should be synced:

   1. 0 → No historical orders

   2. Up to 90 days → Sync recent historical orders
      This helps analyze store performance in Anchanto OMS.

5. Select Warehouse
   Choose the Anchanto OMS warehouse to map with this Shopify store.
   (Visible only if multi-warehouse functionality is enabled.)

6. Generate API Token
   Click this option to proceed with app installation and permission approval in Shopify.

Step 9: Install the Anchanto WMS App on Shopify

You will be redirected to your Shopify store to install the Anchanto WMS app.

Important Notes:

• This app is required to securely connect your Shopify store with Anchanto OMS.

• Review the requested permissions carefully, as they are necessary for order, product, and inventory synchronization.

Click Install to continue.

Step 10: Confirm Successful Connection

Once the app is installed:

1. You will be redirected back to Anchanto OMS

2. A “Successful Connection” message will confirm that your Shopify store is now connected
