Overview
Users can export order data that displays both the overall order status and individual shipment-level statuses side by side. This update resolves visibility challenges for split-shipment orders, eliminating manual status validation and accelerating reporting and reconciliation workflows across all account types.
Before you begin
- Account Compatibility: This feature is automatically active and applicable for both Multi-Warehouse and Non-Multi-Warehouse accounts.
- Data Impact: Both historical and new order exports will display the updated column structure.
- System Workflow: No backend changes or API integration updates are required; the enhancement updates the standard Excel export layout directly.
Steps (UI and Bulk Workflows)
- Login to OMS and navigate to Orders module
- Go to Orders → Click All Orders (or select a specific order tab such as New, Ready To Ship,or Shipped).
- Select the checkboxes next to the specific orders you want to extract.
- Click Actions → Click Export Selected Orders.
- Go to the left navigation sidebar → Click Bulk Activities.
- Locate your requested report labeled All Order Export under the Action column.
- Click the Download button next to the generated file.
- Open the downloaded Excel report → Navigate to columns AJ (Order State) and AK (Shipment State) to review the statuses side by side.
Note:
| If you see X | Do Y |
| Shipment State column matches Order State exactly for a split order | Check if all individual packages share the same fulfillment milestone. If the statuses are identical, the shipments have progressed to the same stage. |
| The downloaded file does not show columns AJ and AK | Ensure you are looking at the standard All Order Export report generated from the Actions menu. Custom grid views or legacy custom reports may not reflect this default column mapping. |
| Bulk Activities page shows a pending status instead of a download link | Wait a few moments and refresh your browser. Large multi-order export requests can take up to a couple of minutes to compile completely. |
