How to Create and List Group/Variation Products in OMS

Introduction
Group products (product variations) help organize your catalog efficiently. This guide shows you how to create and list products with multiple variations (like sizes/colors) in OMS.
- Definition: Multiple variations of a single product
- Example: Same t-shirt in different sizes (S/M/L) or colors
- Key Benefit: Manage all variations under one parent product
Step 1: Initiate Product Creation
- Log in to OMS
- Go to Catalogue tab
- Click Add Product
Step 2: Set Up Basic Information
- Select Group Product as product type
- Fill in:
- Product name
- Description
- Main SKU details
- Upload images (drag & drop or browse)
- Click Save as Draft
Step 3: Configure Marketplace Listing
- Select sales channels (marketplaces)
- Choose appropriate categories for each
- Click Start Listing
Step 4: Add Product Variations
- Create option types (color, size, etc.)
- For each variant:
- Add unique Channel SKU (CSKU)
- Assign Inventory SKU (ISKU) (existing or new)
- Complete all mandatory fields
- Click List
Important:
- Each variant must have unique CSKU
- Existing single SKUs can't be converted to groups (create new group instead)
- Products appear in Draft state initially
- Verify listings on each marketplace
- Monitor performance through Analytics
