Pack Inventory into Carton LPNs in Anchanto WMS

Overview

During packing, each carton is represented by one Outbound LPN. Once packing is complete, the packed LPN is linked to the shipment, giving you carton-level traceability all the way to dispatch.

Step-by-Step Instructions

1. Go to Order → Pack → Scan or select the Order / Shipment and click Quality Check (QC) → The Packing screen loads with order and SKU details.
2. Go to the Packing screen → Scan the SKU → Quantity updates automatically based on the scan.
3. Go to the Packing screen → Create a Carton, then scan or generate an Outbound LPN → The LPN is mapped to the carton and the packed SKUs.
4. Go to the Packing screen → Complete packing → The system checks that all SKUs are packed and that the packed quantity matches the order quantity. Packing is then marked Completed, and the LPN(s) move to the Dispatch stage.

Important Notes & Limitations

• If an Outbound LPN was already mapped during picking, no Outbound LPN mapping is displayed and no additional Outbound LPN can be mapped.
• Both single-carton and multi-carton packing are supported.
