Configure LPN-Based Returns in Anchanto WMS

Overview

To handle returns with LPNs, you enable LPN Management for the warehouse and then configure the return flow. The return flow settings control whether returns go through Receiving and Count & QC, which receiving mode is used, and whether QC can be skipped.

Prerequisites for Success

• LPN Management enabled at Admin/Tenant level by Anchanto.
• The Inbound, Storage and Outbound LPN modules enabled; Return requires them.

Step-by-Step Instructions

Enable LPN Management for returns

1. Go to Warehouse → Open the required warehouse and scroll to LPN Management Group → The LPN settings are displayed.
2. Go to LPN Management Group → Tick LPN Management, ensure the required LPN modules for Return processing are enabled, and click Update Warehouse → The warehouse is ready for LPN returns.

3. Go to the warehouse return-flow settings → Enable New Return Flow → The enhanced Return Receiving and Count & QC stages are added to the return journey.
4. Go to the return-flow settings → Enable Return Receiving and/or Return Count & QC as required → The selected stages are active.
5. Go to Return Receiving Mode → Select Scan or Manual / Check Box, then save or update the warehouse settings → The receiving mode is set.
6. Go to Customer-level settings → Enable Skip QC at Return only when received stock should go directly to Putaway, then save → QC is bypassed for that customer. 

Important Notes & Limitations

• Only one Return Receiving mode can be used at a time.
• When Skip QC at Return is enabled, Count & QC and Quarantine are bypassed.
• Supported order types: B2C, B2B, STO, Cross Dock and Flow Through.
• Both LPN and non-LPN return flows are supported.
