Overview
When Parent–Child Mapping is disabled, returned SKUs map directly to a standalone Flat LPN and the Parent/Child fields are hidden. The LPN still needs a container, and the mapping can only be confirmed once capacity validation passes.
Step-by-Step Instructions
- Go to the return LPN mapping → Scan the standalone LPN for the SKU → If the LPN has no container type, the Select Container Type For LPN popup opens.
- Go to Scan / Select Container type → Choose the container, review its dimensions and capacity, and click Proceed → Capacity validation runs.
- Go to the mapping → If WMS shows a capacity warning, correct the LPN, container or quantity → Validation is re-checked.
- Go to the mapping → Confirm or update the mapping once validation passes → The SKU is mapped to the Flat LPN.
Important Notes & Limitations
- If an existing LPN already has a container type, WMS displays its capacity information.
- The Flat LPN flow removes Parent/Child details from the LPN statement where applicable.
