Quality Check Returned Stock in Anchanto WMS

Overview

Received returns move to Count & QC, unless Skip QC at Return is enabled. You validate the LPN and SKU, then classify each quantity as Usable, Unusable or Quarantine before the stock moves on to putaway.

Step-by-Step Instructions

1. Go to Returns → Count & QC → Search for the return and click Process Count & QC → The QC Panel opens.
2. Go to QC Panel → Scan or enter the LPN, then the SKU / UPC → Once both are validated, you can open QC for that SKU.
3. Go to the QC popup → Enter the quantity to classify and select Usable or Unusable, or use Quarantine if another QC decision is needed → The disposition is set.
4. Go to the QC popup → Assign an existing LPN or generate a new one for the resulting quantity (see 3.5), then click Update → The QC result is saved. 
5. Go to QC Panel → Complete QC → The eligible quantity moves to Putaway.

Important Notes & Limitations

The dispositions mean the following:

• Usable: accepted for normal storage after putaway.
• Unusable: damaged, expired or non-sellable stock, which can be assigned to a dedicated Return LPN.
• Quarantine: held for a further QC decision.
