Count Stock in an LPN-Wise Stock Take in Anchanto WMS – Anchanto

Overview

Once a Stock Take is assigned, you count each selected LPN on Web or PDA. When Parent and Child LPNs are both included, you start with the Parent and then work through each Child.

Prerequisites for Success

An LPN-wise Stock Take assigned to you.

Step-by-Step Instructions

Go to the assigned Stock Take task on Web or PDA → Open it → The task opens.
Go to the task → Scan the Parent LPN first (when Parent and Child LPNs are included) → The Parent LPN is ready to count.
Go to the Parent LPN → Count the SKUs stored directly in it → The Parent counts are recorded.
Go to each Child LPN → Scan it and count the SKUs inside → The Child counts are recorded.
Go to any SKU that is not found → Mark it Missing and select the reason → The discrepancy is recorded.
Go to the task → Complete it after every selected LPN and SKU is counted or resolved → The Stock Take is completed.

Important Notes & Limitations

If only a Child LPN is selected, start directly from that Child LPN.

Troubleshooting & Common Errors

If the system shows this error	Follow these steps to fix it
A Child LPN is rejected	WMS rejects a Child LPN that does not belong to the scanned Parent. Scan a Child LPN linked to that Parent.
The Stock Take cannot be completed	WMS does not allow completion of an incomplete Stock Take. Count or resolve every selected LPN and SKU.
