Overview
You can control what an LPN is allowed to hold and how much it can carry. Before any inventory is added, adjusted or transferred, WMS checks the LPN's content mappings and capacity, and blocks the transaction if a rule isn't met.

Important Notes & Limitations
Content mappings:
- Company Mapping: only SKUs belonging to the mapped company are allowed.
- SKU Mapping: one or more specific SKUs may be allowed.
- Category Mapping: only mapped categories are allowed.
- Brand Mapping: only mapped brands are allowed.
- If both Category and Brand are configured, the SKU must satisfy both.
Capacity controls:
- System-calculated validation uses container weight and volume limits.
- Manual Quantity Validation applies a maximum quantity per SKU.
- System-calculated capacity validation and Manual Quantity Validation are mutually exclusive.
Troubleshooting & Common Errors

| Transfer quantity above available source stock | WMS blocks confirmation. Enter a quantity within the available source stock. |
| Capacity exceeded | WMS blocks confirmation until the LPN, container or quantity is corrected. |
| Company / SKU / Category / Brand mismatch | WMS blocks the inventory addition. Resolution: Not covered in source — needs SME input. |
| Incomplete Stock Take | WMS does not allow completion. Count or resolve every selected LPN and SKU. |
